Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to the questions we hear most. Don't see yours? Call (215) 760-8229.
What is in-home physical therapy?
A licensed physical therapist comes to your home to evaluate and treat you, focusing on the everyday tasks and spaces you use, like stairs, the bathroom and getting in and out of a chair.
What areas do you serve?
We serve Northeast Philadelphia, Bucks County and Montgomery County, PA. See the full list of towns and ZIP codes on our home page, or call to check your address.
Does Medicare cover physical therapy at home?
Yes. We are a Medicare provider and bill Medicare Part B directly for outpatient physical therapy provided in your home. Coverage and eligibility depend on your individual situation, so we check with you before your first visit.
What other insurance do you accept?
We accept Aetna Medicare plans, Independence Blue Cross plans and Keystone 65. Call us and we'll verify your coverage.
Do I need a doctor's referral?
Medicare requires a plan of care signed by your doctor. We'll coordinate with your physician for you, so just call us to get started.
What conditions do you treat?
Balance problems and fall prevention, Parkinson's disease, stroke and other neurological conditions, recovery after orthopedic surgery and joint replacement, back, hip and knee pain, and rehab after car accidents.
How should I prepare for my first visit?
Wear comfortable clothing and supportive shoes you can walk in. Have your medication list, insurance card and any paperwork from your doctor handy, and clear a little space where we can work. That's it. We'll take care of the rest.
Can family members be there during therapy?
Yes, and we encourage it. We can teach family members and caregivers how to help safely.
How do I get started?
