UPT Services is a home-based physical therapy practice serving Northeast Philadelphia, Bucks County and Montgomery County. We bring one-on-one care to your door, so you can get stronger and steadier in the place that matters most: your own home.
Our story
Dr. Oleg Uzhansky became a physical therapist in 2013, after earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Drexel University. Working in busy outpatient clinics, he saw how easily care can start to feel like a conveyor belt, with too many patients and too little time for each one.
In 2016 he started UPT Services to do it differently: bring therapy to the patient's home and give each person real, unhurried, one-on-one time.
Our goal for you: to stay independent, avoid falls, and get back to your full potential, right at home, where it matters most.
What makes us different
- One-on-one care. Your visit is yours. You're never sharing your therapist with other patients.
- Therapy where you live. We practice on your own stairs, in your own bathroom and around your own furniture.
- Family is welcome. Caregivers can join visits and learn how to help safely.
- Care in your language. We speak English, Russian and Ukrainian.
- A safer home. We spot hazards and recommend simple changes that help you stay in your home.
- Insurance handled. We bill Medicare Part B and other plans directly.
- Connected care. We work with local home health agencies, so if you also need skilled nursing we can coordinate with your agency or connect you with one.
Meet the team
Dr. Oleg Uzhansky, PT, DPT, CAPS
Founder and physical therapist
Dr. Uzhansky earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Temple University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Drexel University. He is a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), trained to help people remain safely in their homes.
His continuing education focuses on home-based rehabilitation for older adults, fall prevention, home modifications, and orthopedic and neurological conditions.
Outside of work, he's a self-described ski bum who enjoys hiking, biking, travel, good food and time with family and friends.
Our team also includes two physical therapist assistants who work alongside Dr. Uzhansky.

- We check your coverage. We confirm your insurance before your first visit and coordinate with your doctor.
- We come to you. Your first visit is an evaluation at home, and your plan starts from there.
Medicare Part B accepted, plus Aetna Medicare, Independence Blue Cross and Keystone 65.
