Many people are surprised to learn that physical therapy can come to them. If getting to a clinic is difficult, Medicare Part B may cover therapy in your home.
How it works
Medicare Part B covers medically necessary outpatient physical therapy. A Medicare-enrolled therapist, like UPT Services, can provide those outpatient services in your home and bill Medicare directly.
Who it's for
In-home outpatient therapy is a good fit if leaving home is hard because of a medical or physical condition. Examples include recovering from surgery, balance problems or recent falls, Parkinson's disease or stroke, or weakness that makes travel tiring or unsafe.
What you'll pay
Under Medicare Part B you generally pay the standard coinsurance after your deductible. Supplemental or Medicare Advantage plans may cover some or all of that. Coverage depends on your plan, so we check it with you before your first visit.

Besides Original Medicare, we accept Aetna Medicare plans, Independence Blue Cross plans and Keystone 65.
